W.A.L.T: Work ratios and proportions.

 This week I am working with rations. If you do not know how to work out ratios well I will teach you how it is done. If Waimaria (Me) saved 12 goals for every 18 goals. How many were kicked at Waimaria if he saved 36? So this what you would do so what 12 divided by 2=6 and 18 divided by 2= 9 so it will be 6:9

Walt: multiply and divide whole numbers

This week I have learnt a lot of things. One of the things was that I learnt to multiply whole numbers. If you do not know how to multiply whole numbers. We'll stay here and you will learn. If Rosea had a line that is all 8.6 long.And line them all up end to end. How long will it be now? So first we have to do 8x8=64 and .6x8=4.8 then we do 64+4.8=68.8

This week I have leant to subtract decimals. Do you know how to subtract decimals? If you don't stay here and you will find out how to subtract decimals. If I had 3.72-1.82 you can not do that because 7 is bigger than the 8 so what you do is 1.82+ 1.88 =3.72  so what you do now is 1.84+.06=1.9 1.9+0.1=2 and 2+1.72=3.72 so the answer all together is

This week I have leant to add decimals. Do you know how to add decimals? If you do not today you will be leaving my blog and you have leant something and it will be add decimals so lets get started! If I had 2.78+1.95=4.19 because 2+1=3 .7+.9=1.6 and .08+0.5=.13. So there you have make sure you look at the video to get more info.

This week I have leant to add money. If you do not know how to add money well stay here and I will show you. If class was going on a trip and all together it cost 531 Seini and Waimaria said that there will pay for it and Waimaria pay $345 how much left did Seini have to pay. I know that the answer is 181 because 45+5=50 another 50 =400+131=531 so the answer all together is 181.

This week I have learnt to subtract decimals. For example if I had a chocolate bar that was 3.9 long and then I ate 1.8 how much is left. I know that it is 2.1 because 1-3=2 and .8-.9=.1 so the answer all together is   2.1. I hope that you now know how to subtract decimals.

Hi welcome back from the school holidays!This is a math teacher lesson. I hope that you had a good holiday and is back to learning. Today we are adding decimals. YAY! What 2.3+2.9=5.2 because 2+2=4  .9+.3=1.2 so the answer all together is 5.2.

This week I learnt to add fractions. Now that I know how to do it I can give you one. If rose ran 3 1/12 and the next day she ran 6 1/12  you have to add 6+3= 9. So the answer = 9 1/12.

This week I have learnt that fraction is like division . For examples  if there was 15 and you had to spilt it up into 1/3 how much would it be. So 15 divided by 2= 7.5 so if we do 15  divided by 3=5 so the answer will be 1/3 of 15=3.

I have learnt a lot for and example 1/3 of 27 what you do is you garb the 27 what is the number that 27 it is 9 because 27  divide by 3=9 9x1=9 so the answer is 9. At frist it was hard but now I can do any  fraction problems.
