Math Teacher Lesson Week 10

W.A.L.T: Add & Subtract Fractions
Click this lnik to see what we have done on Educreation
This week I learnt to add and subtract fractions. Now that I know how to do it I can give you one. If I had 1/6 - 5/6= 4/6 because 1-5=4. We can do a mixed number if I had 4 5/6 - 3 2/6= 2 3/6 that is the answer because 4-2=2 and 5/6 - 2/6 = 3/6 if you divide 3= 1 and 6 divide 3= 2 so the answer is 2 1/2

Now that I know how to do it I can give you two first we will start of with mixes numbers if the question was 5 2/10 you do 5x10=50+2=52 so the answer will be 52/10. Now looks move onto the next one and it will be improper fractions if we 32/3 we would do this 32 divide by 3= 10r2 so the answer will be 10 2/3.
