This week our task was to make an Interview. To start us off we had to make a doc so we can plan what we are going to say. So when we record our interview we know what we are saying. This week I have leant to to make my interview more exciting so when kids or adults look at this it will be more engaging. I have also learnt from the text that there is a kind of bike called a 'Fat Bike'. A fat bike is bike that is good to go cycling on the road because the tire is fat and the fatter it is the safer it is. The tire is stable so when you are riding your fat bike if you have one it will be safe for you to go on different types of roads.

Last week I have leant to read and watch carefully so I can find out what is the best watch out of the Garmin and Fitbit. I have picked the Fitbit because it has got many 5 star ratings and the Garmin has not yet got one 5 star rating. The fitbit is made for you so you can keep up with your fitness and can see how your friends are going to.

Kynan

W.A.L.T: find specific evidence in the text. 

This week I have leant to find the evidence in the text. First we had to make two padlets. Our first one was about how Kynan showed perseverance. Our second one was about how Kynan was capable. If you ever make a padlet make sure you have evidence.

If I had 1 million dollars

I wake in the morning and i went to go and watch t.v in the sitting room and it was full of money. When I saw it I started to jump over the place with excitement! I called my mum and said “ Mum come and look in the sitting room”. My mum quickly run to the me and said “how did this money get here”. I called my dad and he said that he left it there for me and my mum to go shopping at the mall. YAY!

Off we went to the mall and first up on our list is toyworld. I would buy at toyworld is remote control car for my baby sister because when we go out places she gets sick of walking but when I buy her the remote control car she will be very happy with because she doesn't have to walk any more. After buying that I would buy stuff for me and my baby sister's bed I would buy her teddy bears, blanket covers and cool pillows.

When we were finished shopping at toyworld we were off to look for JB Hifi. When we got to JB Hifi I wanted to buy a apple laptop and a phone for me, my brother, my sister and my step dad the phone that I would buy for them would be a iPhone 6 or 5. I know that I would buy me a apple laptop so when I leave my netbook at school I would still have something to play on.

The very last shop we are going to is foot locker. At foot locker I would buy me and my sister’s nike roshe, nike airmaxs and for my baby sister I would buy nike roshe and puma. I would these shoes for me and my sister’s because we all need good shoes and I have the money so why not.

I think that I did not spend it well because I bought junk and I did not even want and it cost a lot of money. I could of payed the bills and I would of spent it well. If you go out shopping make sure when you go out shopping make sure you buy what you need or else if you see something cool and you buy it and go home and open it and you don't like it you can not get your money back it would of been a waste of time.

This the task that we were giving is to make a ad for Anthony. I have learnt to make a poster. The poster was about how much Anthony get paid and what he is super good at. If you make a poster make sure that you have what there are good at, how much there pay him and contact details make sure you aslo put to good word about he/she.

Create A Definition Week 11

This week we had to create a definition for reading. But first we had to read our book to get four new words or we can get it from our last week book.

This week I have learnt to make words into opposite like data the opposite of data is question. I have aslo learnt to make a complex sentence. To make a complex sentence you have to add three things. I will make up a complex sentence. Make sure you slap on some sunscreen because you might die if you do not protect yourself.

This week I have learnt a lot because we got a week or 2 to find out how many kids want  a new playground. First I have learnt to make a brand new survey for what things there wanted on the park and what things there didn't want on the park.

Compare The Differences Between Christchurch and Auckland

Walt: find comparisons and differences between items and provide proof
This week I have learnt to compare the differences  between Christchurch  and Auckland.


I have also learnt that Christchurch use different  materiel for malls,  church and other emergency so there can get people into house quickly. I have also learnt that  a lot of data about what there use for church like  cardboard for there church. When you want to visit the art gallery you can't because it has been busted down from many earthquake. So instead of making a art gallery so there painted beautiful art  outside and you can drive around and see it all.

Walt: Present information different ways





















This week we had to create and info post. We had to use our brains to make up 5 questions  and answer it. At first it was hard for me but now it is not.

Happy Mothers day!

Did you get anything  for your mum? Well I did I made my mum a card. When I wake up I had to make the table look nice  to get it ready for mothers day breakfast.

What we had  for  breakfast you ask? Well it was mini sausages, bacon, toast and egg. When I was finish doing the table I went and got my card for  my mum and when I gave it to her she said that she loved it. What I said on the card is that if she was here I would not have turn out how I have now and I will love her till the end. When we were done we had to take my dog called coco to the vet.

When we were done taking coco to the vet we had to go home and get ready for our bake off. What I was  baking was chocolate and white  chip cookies. Who went first was my dad him was cooking jam tarts when him was done it was my turn I was baking chocolate and white  chip cookies and after I was done it was the lucky last and it was my bother. The score that me and my dad got was a 8/10 I was happy for that score

Hope you had a special mothers day and hope your mothers had a lovely day. I hope that you made your mum happy. Thank you to my mum for being there I am down.

. When it was getting dark my everyone voted for the on there like and the winner the jam tarts so it was my dad who won.

Waimaria-Why should you learn how to swim?

Why should you learn how to swim? Let me give you an example, well first  you may go to the pools and someone is drowning. If you know how to swim you can  go and save them.

Survival

You need to know how to swim.For example If  you want to go to the beach or go fishing and you fall out of the boat and into the water you need to know how to survive. And if you don’t know how  to swim you will die you will die from drowning .If you you know how to swim you will survive.

Health

Swimming is a great way of being fit. It is a great way to be healthy. For example if you  have  put on a bit of weight because you were eating too much lollies, all you need to do is go for a swim and exercise at the pools.                                                            

These are my two reasons about why you should learn how to swim. I hope you can learn how to swim!
