what happened with lucy on camp last year?

Today we I have find out  about lucy year 5 and 6 camp from last year.



Lucy  first activity was about sleeping in a tent.Lucy though the night it was really  hot and thought the morning it was cold. She said that that there had to wake up at 6 something and walk to the hall for jump jar. The way there had to wake up is Miss Garden  will say Good Morning Campers! 



This year camp was not different because the activity was the same and the food was the same. We watch the movie on the same night.  So it was not really different but it was fun!

Malama Honua

Malama Honua

The grass was wet, the sea was clean. The waka was hooked to the sand at Pt England beach and the schools were there to greet them! It was a perfect morning with the waka coming to the Pt England beach! When we  got to the beach there was already one waka anchored and it's name is Hokule’a. There was one more waka to come that was named Hikianalia. They had come from an amazing country that is called Hawaii.

Songs

When the Hikianalia was coming to land we had to sing three amazing songs that is called E oho. When the visitors had all come off the waka and they had arrived onto our beach we had to wait for two minutes for an important chief to welcome them in maori. When the man was done speaking we sang He honore. And when it was ending it was time to sing Nga Waka.

Meet the people

When we were done it was time to go and high five the navigators that had come from Hawaii. When we were done high fiving them we had to wait for our teacher and line up and to get ready to go back to school. When we got back to class we had to eat our morning tea and get ready to go and play.

Start Writing:

Do you know what the year five and six did on the 11th of march till the 13th? If you said Camp you are right! I was part of the All stars my camp teacher was Miss Vaafusuaga. For the year five and six camp we camp at school but when it is nearly the end of the year the year six go on another camp. To go on this camp you have to pay 65$.

On the first day of camp the All stars very first activity was kayaking. When we were finished  getting change into our togs we had to get ready to walk down to the Pt England beach.  As soon as we got to the nice deep blue sea we had to sit down on the grass and wait till Mr But would tell us the rules. One of the rules was to put your foot then bum then your other foot and that rule is called foot bum foot When Mr But was done talking about the rules we had to put on our Life Jackets and when we were done putting our Life Jackets on we had to pick a panther. My panther was Lavhal and when we were Kayaking when I look down on my leg there was a spider on my leg so it freak me out and I thought my paddle out of the kayak. So when I got back onto the shore I quickly jump out of the kayak and run back where my teammates were.   

After the wonderful day it was time to go to sleep after dinner. Do you know what will happen when someone will just stand next to my tent? Well if you said I would  fart you are right! After I keep on farting me and my sleeping panther  was eating cookies and lollies. After we ate our lollies and cookies we went straight to sleep because we had to wake up at 7:00 for jump jam and after jump jam we had to get ready for breakfast.

On the last night it was our camp consent night. The All stars song was called good feeling.  

The cmo consent started at half past seven. Before we called start the consent we had to play a game and that game was humming  Mrs Jacobsen has a  husband  called Mr Jacobsen and him one out of the humming game the seconds was 29 seconds. Who wants to know the first group ? If you said I do can you give me darm roll and stop the group that is going up is called Matapono E. After Matapono E was done dancing it was time for the true crews to go and show off their dances. When the true crews where done dancing it was time for my group. When my group was done it was time for the The Real DealZ after the The Real DealZ it was time for the The Commitments after the The Commitments it was time for the Honest Squad. The first place goes to he Honest Squad.

This has now come to and end now you know what the year five’s and six’s did? Maybe when you go on camp you can tell me by putting it you're your blog?

The thing I love doing?

Do you know what sport I like? Well if you said netball you are right and if you said softball you are not right.  I like to play netball for a club that is called live wires.  This year I am playing for year seven even though that I am a year six I still play for year seven. My mum talk to my aunty and she told my mum about the live wires netball team and that is how I got into the live wires netball team.

Every wednesday from now on it is my training time so on the thursday the day after it is my netball game that can be hold at 4:15 or 5:05. Last week my game was 4:15. My team does not have a name but I can tell you how my game went. I was playing goal shot  for the first half and the second I was on a berk and the third and forth I was wing defence. I did not shot a goal in but unless I tryed.

The goal attack and the goal shot was really good on the second half we shot six  goals and in the third round we shot two in and in the fourth round we shot one in. When was the third round I was wing defect I was good. I ran and jump and I got the ball.  The score was 9 to live wires and 12 to

the other team.

The was a lost but as long as we tried and had fun. This game is now over I now had to go for a shower just jokes. Take care and be kind to the world.

Omaru Creek

I have learnt that Omaru is very special to Pt England School. Omaru creek is one of Pt England's taonga and is has living animals inside the creek so then we will have to take good care of our creek.
