The commonwealth games dictagloss

The commonwealth games ,  often known as the friendly games, it has a unique place sporting history. It is an international multi -sport, it is like the olympics  games   except athletes from the commonwealth countries. The commonwealth games includes county like New Zealand, England and the Pacific Island.

The first commonwealth game was held in Hamilton , Canada. Eleven countries sent four hundred, athletes and six sports along with  fifty nine events.  Since then the games have been held every four years.  However in 1942 and 1946 the games were cancelled , because of the second world war .

The event has many chargers, even it’s name. In 1930 to 1950  the games, were known as the British games. Later, from  1970  to  1974 took the title of the British commonwealth games. Finally , at the 1978 in Edmonton Canada,  this multi sport event changed its name to the commonwealth games.
